One of the biggest obstacles we've had to overcome, and it may be similar for others as well, is not accepting an experience because it does not look like what you are choosing at first. You consciously choose to experience abundance but you turn down the nickel on the sidewalk. You look at it and judge it, "that's not abundance to me!" You turn it down and walk on. Even if you do pick up the nickel and keep it, are you feeling abundance and gratitude for it? Or are you judging it as not good enough? You saw it, you noticed it, it came into your awareness, therefore you created it. Be open to accepting all events and circumstances which move you closer to what you are choosing, even if they do not appear to exactly match your conscious choosing at first. Sometimes we manifest in baby steps, and it has to do with what we believe is possible for us in that moment. Every experience is a creation. Accepting those creations as "Your Creation" are what strengthens your belief and knowing YOU are creating it. This goes back to taking 100% responsibility. Then next time, your belief and knowing will be strong enough to create an experience a step closer to what you are choosing. As much as it is important to get clear on what you are choosing and to re-evaluate your thoughts, feelings and actions if not creating exactly what you are choosing; it is equally as important to accept the small creations and say yes to the Universe. Yes Universe/Source/God/Divine! This what I am choosing!
This does not just apply to finding money on the street to create abundance. Often our creations can manifest in the form of generosity from others. Some people are so used to being people pleasers and respond to generosity with - "Oh, you really shouldn't have done that", "Oh, you don't need to do that", "Buying me lunch is not necessary", "I cannot accept this gift". In effect, saying NO to their creation. It doesn’t have to be something material either. Perhaps you’re choosing to create a healthier, more in shape you, and someone compliments you on your hard work or appearance. You dismiss it. Instead of accepting the positive feeling of being more in shape than you were, which is what you were trying to create from the beginning, you dismiss it and stop the creation process. When someone offers you anything switch your thinking and learn to appreciate and fully accept whatever it is. Find gratitude and joy in it! After all, choosing to feel good in response to situations is what aligns you with those situations you feel good experiencing and you will therefore create more of them. We do believe anyone can create anything, but they have to believe it's possible for them before they can.
