Principle 8 – Focus On Your Feelings

Principle 8 Meme - When You Stop Noticing you don't have it yet, it will come.

PRINCIPLE 8

FOCUS ON YOUR FEELINGS, NOT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES

Your current circumstances are a result of your past thoughts, feelings (vibration) and actions. It is important to not choose your emotional state based on what’s happening now, just focus on choosing what you want to feel and create moving forward. What is currently in your reality now, was created by the past you. Focusing on and reacting to present circumstances is aligning your vibration with those past circumstances and will only create more of the same for the future. In every moment, how you are feeling is creating your future. Be mindful of how you feel while you are experiencing your thoughts, situations and events.

“Do not take your cue from circumstances.”

- Bentinho Massaro

When living your life only reacting to current circumstances, you are always looking in the rear-view mirror at what you created yesterday. You are not looking forward to what is possible tomorrow. Imagine painting the windshield of your vehicle with black paint, so it is completely opaque. Now drive forward in that vehicle, only guessing what's ahead by what you see behind you in your mirrors. Sounds like a challenging way to "move forward" doesn't it? Yet this is how most of us live our lives every day, looking backwards. Looking backwards through our mirrors, or "reflection" has it's place. It's what we do when we make a wrong turn or get lost. It's for course correction, not a primary means of moving forward.

"When you stop noticing you don't have it yet, it will come."

Think of your external circumstances as a mirror; a magic, time-travelling mirror that shows the past you. It's purpose is to show you what you created YESTERDAY so you can experience your creation. This is meant to allow you to choose your TOMORROW by how you feel NOW. This is why in every experience, even ones you feel bad experiencing, there is something to learn from and be grateful for. Having that "Attitude of Gratitude" (guess what?) creates more experiences you will feel grateful for having.
